Our first meet-up will be held on Monday, January 27th. Join your neighbors for a fun afternoon at the center. We will meet and talk about what games and activities our group would enjoy.

Book Club

Do you enjoy reading? Would you like to find others in our community that also enjoy reading? Ridgely's Run Community Center is starting a book club! We are looking for 8 to10 ladies who would be interested in reading and discussing books on a monthly basis at the Community Center.

We are meeting on Monday, February 17th at 7pm to discuss how the club will run. We will not be discussing a book at our first meeting but come with ideas on how you would like the club to run.

If you are interested in joining, email ridgelysrunbookclub@gmail.com. The club will be open to the first 10 people who contact us. If we get an outpouring of interest, we will consider starting two book clubs.

Gentlemen or Youth, the center would be happy to also host other book clubs, but we need a volunteer to lead the effort. Please contact RidgelysRun@gmail.com if you would be interested in leading another group.

Earth Day Tire Garden Painting

How many times have you driven past the Community Center and looked at the tires?  When we originally did the project, we offered sponsorships to help offset the cost of supplies. Each tire has a story and a plaque in it, honoring the group or individual it was sponsored for.

It is time again to repaint and replant our tires and we are once looking for sponsors. They are only $35 and includes the plaque honoring your loved one, group or business. Please sign up on the link below.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August!
